I’m beyond excited to share my collaboration with UNIQLO! For the opening of the new RE.UNIQLO Studio at UNIQLO Meir, I designed a collection of upcycled accessories crafted from pre-loved UNIQLO garments. Each bag charm, and keychain / patch is handmade by my dear sewer Mustapha, Blue and Valentine. The scrunchies are made and designed by Valentine together with the Werkzaak, a neighborhood enterprise of SAAMO. In our textile atelier, we explore how linking local needs with local talent can create meaningful and paid employment. As their coach I’m proud to see this vision come to life through our collection.
